A Family Affair
Our Story
Kyle and his family left Southwest Missouri in 2018 to travel full time in their 5th wheel trailer. They have 2 girls who love adventures and “going camping”.
That Mobile RV Guy came about after Kyle and his family experienced a series of “mechanical mishaps” during the first couple of months of traveling. It became apparent that they couldn’t rely on repair facilities to help them as they were either too booked up or would require them to leave the trailer at the shop – neither option would work for a full time family. So Kyle began to put his fix-it skills to the trailer. The more he worked on his trailer, as well as his in-laws trailer, the more people would come up and ask if he could come work on their trailers. As Kyle looked into the RV repair industry, he realized the incredible need for quality repair technicians.
Since then, Kyle has been helping people around the country as a Level 1 RV Mechanic with the RVIA (RV Industry Association) – RVDA (RV Dealers Association) and as a Certified RV Inspector with the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA).
That Mobile RV Guy has grown to be a family affair, a family run mobile business. We try to be in an area for a season in order to best serve those in the area, while at the same time being able to explore the region. NATIONAL RV INSPECTORS ASSOCIATION (NRVIA)
The National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA) is a membership organization providing certification and credentials for professional recreational vehicle inspectors across North America that have undergone a strict, standardized testing and certification process.
RV Technical Institute (RVTI)
The RV Industry Association (RVIA) created the RV Technical Institute (RVTI), a world-class training curriculum that will be standardized nationally to develop a cadre of technicians who can diagnose and repair RVs and ultimately improve the RV consumer experience.
JG Lubricant Services
JG Lubricant Services offers coolant and lubricant analysis for many different types of equipment and a host of different applications including RV’s and uses the “proven science” of Oil Analysis to help you improve maintenance and ensure that your equipment, your oils and your coolants are performing as they should.
